Renee Lee

Principal Podiatrist

Renee Lee graduated in 2014 from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine under the Singapore General Hospital Scholarship Award. During her time in university, she was awarded the William T. Woodhead Prize in Podiatric Biomechanics for her outstanding academic achievements.

She practiced as a Podiatrist at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) where she developed and ran WALK, a specialized clinic in SGH Podiatry Department that treats patients with complexed diabetic foot ulcers through collaboration with Prosthetists and Orthotists to manufacture orthotics and modify shoes to help heal foot wounds. She was also the clinical supervisor for junior Podiatrists and Podiatry students, and the Podiatry representative in the SGH Allied Health Division Service Excellence Committee. Outside work, Renee also holds various professional appointments. She is the current committee member of the Wound Healing Society (Singapore) and has served in the Podiatry Association (Singapore) as Welfare Officer from 2015-2020.

Renee Lee enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, with special interests for diabetic foot and wound care, biomechanical and musculoskeletal injuries, blister treatment and ingrown toenail management. She is also an active volunteer in the community, providing Podiatry services in marathons, walkathons and diabetic foot screening events. Renee also volunteered overseas, in Lalitpur, where she spent time treating patients with leprosy-related foot problems at Anandaban Hospital, a flagship and main referral hospital for leprosy complications in the entire Nepal.

Renee strongly believes and practices quality holistic care for all her patients. She is well-liked and often praised by her patients for her excellent care and customer service. This has won her the SGH Service with A Heart Award, SingHealth Quality Service Silver and Gold Awards in 2017 and 2018 respectively and COVID-19 Healthcare Heroes Award in 2021.

In her free time, Renee can be found indulging in many different activities such as food hunting, pole-dancing, swimming and watching Formula 1 races!
